CATS Accountants and Financial Planning is a CPA practice.
“What is a CPA?” we hear you ask. CPA stands for Certified Practising Accountant, and if you are a CPA you are a finance, accounting or business professional with extreme competence in your field. CPA Australia would say that “it indicates a soundness in depth, breadth and quality of accountancy knowledge”, we say it means we are really good at what we do.
To become a CPA you have to have at least a bachelors degree recognised by CPA, have completed the CPA Program with three years professional experience on top of that and to stay a member you must undertake certified professional development every year to ensure you are up to date with all the industry’s latest as well as comply with a very strict code of conduct.
Here at CATS our Managing Director Warren Garth is the practise’s CPA, Warren has even gone one step further, he is a Fellow of CPA Australia or an FCPA. This means he has had at least 15 years experience including at least 5 years as an executive or as a public accountant. Pretty fancy.
