Well in business, it is not dissimilar. Our Business Performance Reviews (BPR’S) are essentially a 'health check' of your current and future financial positions. It allows us to diagnose your business and offer recommendations and solutions to potential tax problems, cash flow and profit issues, whilst maintaining a focus on the overall improvement in financial performance.

We tell our children this piece of wisdom when they are young, but why is it that as adults and business owners, we don’t head this same advice? Many accountants follow the old traditional practice of focusing on tax returns as the only form of business advice and value they provide to clients. When asked to ‘look’ at the business, they quite often pull out the ‘historical’ financial reports that reflect prior trading results and proceed to tell you how things compared in the past.
